**Requirements**
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or Primary Care with several years of experience
- ATLS and ACLS certification
**About the Facility**
The hospital is a high-acuity facility with a daily physician coverage of 46 and daily APC coverage of 54. The hospital has 460 beds, a fast track, and ED beds. The hospital medicine program is in place, and the facility is a trauma level II hospital.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients presenting with acute medical conditions, injuries, and emergencies
- Perform initial patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests as required
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine and best practices, considering the individual needs of each patient
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing clear explanations of diagnoses, treatment options, and potential risks and benefits
- Monitor and reassess patients regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and addressing any changes in their condition promptly
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, research projects, and departmental meetings to promote excellence in emergency medical care
