Overview
As a key member of the cybersecurity team, the Information Security Analyst plays a crucial role in safeguarding the organization's sensitive information and systems. Reporting directly to the Information Security Director, you will collaborate with a talented group of cybersecurity experts dedicated to maintaining the integrity of our information security program.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for at least two of the Firm's security platforms, including but not limited to Palo Alto, FireEye, and Microsoft Defender. This includes overseeing the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of these systems while continuously assessing new features for potential integration.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the security architecture to effectively support and creatively integrate various security technologies.
- Participate in frontline security incident response as part of an on-call rotation, collaborating with Managed Security Services Providers to ensure timely investigation and resolution of security events.
- Conduct thorough security reviews for vendors and projects, which involves engaging with stakeholders, performing due diligence, and presenting actionable recommendations.
- Throughout the system development lifecycle, evaluate the current technology infrastructure to identify and mitigate key risk areas, ensuring robust controls are in place.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in information technology security or related fields, with a strong focus on Microsoft security technologies.
- Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISA, CEH, etc.) are advantageous.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell is beneficial.
- Technical expertise in areas such as next-generation firewalls, endpoint security, ethical hacking, and vulnerability management is essential.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $170,000.
Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid
Classification: Exempt
