Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team at Mañ Miami. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our restaurant, ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize all areas of the restaurant, including dining areas, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
  • Clean and maintain restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
  • Dust and wipe down surfaces, including tables, countertops, and fixtures.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors to ensure a sparkling appearance.
  • Replenish restroom supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.
  • Assist with maintaining outdoor dining areas, including sweeping and clearing debris.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for guests and staff.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed to meet the demands of our business.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
