Job Title: Intake Coordinator

Canopy Children's Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Intake Coordinator to join our team. As an Intake Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that all youth are seen for intake in a timely manner and matched to the best available therapist given their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the Clinical Specialist to determine the best fit for new intakes
  • Enroll youth into Canopy's electronic health record system
  • Assign cases to therapists in Evolv after determining fit
  • Delegate intakes to available therapists when necessary and as time allows
  • Maintain professional licensure
  • Market as needed in the community to ensure a high volume of referrals
  • Manage and schedule daily/weekly/monthly calendar for intakes into the clinic
  • Document in Evolv youth information when information is not correct or missing upon intake

Requirements:

  • Master's degree required in Social Work, Counseling, or related field (or higher)
  • At least two years of experience working with children with serious emotional disturbance (SED) and their families in an outpatient setting
  • Mississippi professional license in mental health field is required (LPC or LCSW)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work well within a complex system of care
  • Competence in assessment and referral within an integrated system of care
