About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and manage projects focused on digital modernization. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our clients' mission by supporting cutting-edge bioinformatics research and facilitating the development of innovative treatments and interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation to production, ensuring that project objectives are met within scope, budget, and schedule constraints.
  • Effectively allocate resources, manage risks, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies, driving efficiency and excellence in delivering impactful solutions.
  • Lead and manage digital modernization project teams, providing clear direction and support to ensure project success.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring successful project delivery and minimizing potential losses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business development, sales, and marketing, to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience as a technical project manager, with a strong background in digital modernization and bioinformatics research.
  • 3+ years of experience working with the Federal Government, with a strong understanding of government contracting and procurement processes.
  • Experience leading and managing digital modernization project teams, with a strong track record of success.
  • Experience with leading capture and proposals, including an understanding of pricing strategy and contract negotiation.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or business administration.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with managing projects under Time and Material (T&M) contracts.
  • Ability to pay strict attention to details in all project activities, including planning, executing, monitoring, reporting, and allocating resources.
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and mentor team members, with a strong focus on leadership and team development.
  • Possession of excellent leadership skills, with a strong ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
