Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL truck driver to join our team at Transforce. As a Ready Mix Concrete Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality ready mix concrete products to various customer and job site locations. Responsibilities

* Operate a truck in a safe and professional manner on public highways, roads, and job sites to deliver materials
* Align the mixer drum under the disbursement chute at the plant to receive product into the mixer truck drum
* Fill the truck water tank with water while the mixer drum is being filled
* Operate the conveyor unit on trucks with attached conveyors, using a hand-held control box to operate and hydraulically move the conveyor belt
* Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and complete required paperwork for billing
* Perform pre and post-trip truck and trailer inspections
* Inform the Service Technician of any maintenance or repairs needed
* Perform minor maintenance tasks on trucks or equipment as needed

Requirements

* Demonstrate good performance, safety, and attendance
* Show the ability to work independently, without direct supervision
* Demonstrate a willingness to work overtime and weekends/holidays
* Demonstrate the ability to work and communicate well with Supervisors, Truck Dispatchers, Truck Drivers, Heavy Equipment Operators, and other employees
* Conform to and maintain MSHA, OSHA, DOT, and all other company or governmental state rules and regulations
* Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required
* Possess good depth perception and coordination to operate controls
* Hold a valid driver's license - Class B CDL required
* Pass pre-employment screenings before being employed by Transforce

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with ready-mixed operations is a plus

Education/Experience

* Ready-mixed experience is preferred but will train the right individuals

CDL Reimbursement Program

* Get up to $4,000 when you get your CDL, new hires who acquire their CDL and start working with Transforce within 3 months of obtaining their license are reimbursed for the cost of the license up to a maximum of $4,000
