Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tank Truck Driver to join our team at The Fullington Auto Bus Company. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and cargo across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and maintain the motor coach to ensure safe operating conditions.
  • Assist with boarding and discharging passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Drive the motor coach to destination, adhering to federal regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of fuel purchases, mileage, and other required documentation.
  • Perform frequent loading and unloading of passenger luggage, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Report any accidents, incidents, or irregularities to the dispatch department promptly.
  • Adjust planned routes to account for changed circumstances, ensuring safe and efficient travel.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment within the motor coach.
  • Recognize and address maintenance issues, performing repairs as needed.
  • Provide assistance to passengers in emergency situations, following company protocols.
  • Interface professionally with customers, hotels, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a passenger endorsement.
  • Class A or B license with air brake restriction removed.
  • At least 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
  • Good oral communication skills and ability to read and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to follow instructions and take direction.
  • Working knowledge of vehicle and safety control systems.
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, and transportation of passengers.
  • Availability to accommodate passenger movement and extended periods away from home.
Minimum Educational Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
