Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist I to join our team at Cone Health. As an Occupational Therapist I, you will play a vital role in evaluating patient conditions, planning and implementing rehabilitative programs, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' physical abilities, medical history, and functional limitations to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises and other occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and range of motion.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and self-management techniques to improve recovery outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement discharge plans and recommendations for continued care.
  • Monitor and document patients' progress, treatment outcomes, and responses to interventions.
  • Collaborate with teams from different departments to ensure coordinated patient care and holistic treatment outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Licensure: Licensed by the North Carolina Occupational Therapy Board
  • Certification: BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
