We are seeking a skilled Concrete Polishing Apprentice to join our team at Premier Polishing Corp, a leader in the concrete polishing industry. Job Overview

The Concrete Polishing Apprentice will work closely with experienced team members to learn the skills necessary for a successful career in concrete polishing. This entry-level position offers a chance to develop hand grinding skills, assist in the grinding and polishing process, maintain and organize work trucks, learn Premier Polishing Systems and Processes, assist in installing concrete overlay floors, and work within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Learns and masters hand grinding skills by assisting in learning tools and techniques associated with hand grinding, practicing using hand grinders under supervision, and aiming for precision and accuracy in all grinding tasks.
  • Assists in the grinding and polishing process by supporting operators during the concrete grinding and polishing stages, helping set up and break down equipment at job sites, and carrying out tasks as directed to ensure smooth project flow.
  • Maintains and organizes work trucks by assisting in loading, unloading, and organizing tools and materials on work trucks, keeping equipment clean and well-maintained, and ensuring all supplies are stocked and ready for daily operations.
  • Learns Premier Polishing Systems and Processes by participating in training to understand different flooring applications and techniques, applying learned systems and processes in practical settings, and adapting to new tasks and responsibilities as skills develop.
  • Assists in installing concrete overlay floors by working alongside team members to prepare surfaces and install overlay floors, following instructions to ensure installations meet quality standards, and engaging actively in hands-on learning opportunities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Eager to Learn: Strong desire to acquire new skills and grow in the concrete polishing industry.
  • Hands-On Skills: Basic familiarity with tools and equipment is a plus.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and stand for extended periods.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as performance-based bonuses.
