The University of Miami is seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer Fellow to join our team. As a key member of our sports medicine department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and prevention of athletic injuries, rehabilitation of injuries, and management of injuries under the guidance and supervision of an assistant/associate staff athletic trainer.
Key Responsibilities- Support assistant/associate athletic trainers with arranging pre-season physicals for assigned sports and maintaining accurate athlete files.
- Provide on-site and off-site coverage of all practices and games, including travel as applicable.
- Recognize and evaluate injuries, manage and treat injuries, and develop rehabilitation plans to prevent future injuries.
- Maintain a daily injury report and communicate with assistant/associate athletic trainers, head coaches, and other relevant staff members.
- Assist with other administrative duties as requested by assistant/associate athletic trainers.

As an Athletic Trainer Fellow, you will work closely with a team of experienced athletic trainers, coaches, and medical professionals to provide top-notch care to our student-athletes.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- BOC certification required; eligibility for Florida licensure as an Athletic Trainer under the written protocol and supervision of the Team Physician.
