Parkland Health and Hospital System is seeking a skilled CT Scan Technologist to join our team. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans on patients, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities- Perform CT scans on patients, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Review patient medical history and physician orders to ensure accurate scanning procedures.
- Screen patients for safety and contraindications, modifying protocols as necessary.
- Administer contrast material and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Process and document images, ensuring accurate patient identification and labeling.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology and/or Computed Tomography program.
- Two years of experience performing Radiology procedures preferred.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R) and/or Computed Tomography (CT).
- Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification from Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) or Texas Medical Board.
- Healthcare Provider CPR course completion card.
