We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler - Shipping and Receiving to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with truck drivers, shipping coordinators, and area supervisors to ensure timely and accurate product flow.
- Verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments by performing duties to quality and productivity standards.
- Load and unload trucks, weigh tubs with a forklift, and ensure proper delivery of materials and received goods to designated areas within the plant.
- Safely operate forklifts and other machinery, stage and prepare products for shipments to customers, and move inventory to proper areas.
- Collaborate with the team to increase plant efficiency by maintaining order and product flow through the shipping process.
- 0-2 years of experience in a warehouse or shipping and receiving environment.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems.
- Ability to interpret work instructions, follow written and verbal directions, and possess basic mathematical skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy objects.
