Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement pharmaceutical services to patients throughout the Medical Center by providing accurately compounded and dispensed medications.
  • Provide clinical functions, including therapeutic drug monitoring and patient appropriate dosing.
  • Work with healthcare professionals to provide the most appropriate and cost-effective drug therapy for each individual patient.
  • Communicate with healthcare professionals regarding medication orders and participate in in-service programs relating to new procedures, policies, equipment, and treatments.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in hospital pharmacy service or other related pharmacy service.
  • Advanced technical/clinical reading, writing, and oral skills.
  • Ability to work with various computer systems, write in patient charts, dose medications based on patient-specific parameters, and perform other clinical functions.
