Position Overview

Affinius Capital is on the lookout for a Senior Associate or Vice President to enhance its Capital Markets division. This team is tasked with sourcing, negotiating, structuring, and pricing debt investments and senior funding across all investment vehicles managed by Affinius Capital, in addition to overseeing banking and warehouse partnerships. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with teams in Originations, Portfolio Management, and Credit, engaging in all facets of the investment and syndication process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support marketing efforts, structuring, negotiating, and finalizing loans for bridge and construction closed-end funds.
  • Evaluate and price term sheets for all construction and bridge financing.
  • Engage with clients and senior funding partners, including banks, insurance firms, and asset management companies.
  • Summarize and analyze financing proposals received, with an expectation to finalize 50 or more financings each year.
  • Collaborate with Asset Management and senior funding partners regarding loan modifications and future funding requirements.
  • Oversee line of credit borrowings and repayments for all credit vehicles to meet short- and medium-term cash flow needs.
  • Work in partnership with Portfolio Management and Accounting teams on treasury management and corporate modeling activities related to fund liquidity.
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners on new issue SASB risk retention, B-Note, and Mezzanine debt investments.
  • Conduct additional analyses and reporting for both internal and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance or real estate.
  • 4 to 7 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and a collaborative problem-solver with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.
  • Capability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
  • On-site work is mandatory.
  • Qualifications may lead to placement in a different job title.

Affinius Capital offers a competitive compensation package, including a starting annual base salary range of $150,000 - $200,000, alongside eligibility for a discretionary Annual Bonus program and other employee benefits, subject to specific terms and conditions.
