Petroleum Fleet Coordinator

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Petroleum Dispatcher to join our team at Wayne Transports, Inc. This role will be responsible for coordinating drivers, trucks, and equipment to ensure efficient service to customers.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate driver assignments, manage load schedules, and optimize routes to maximize productivity.">
• Communicate with drivers and customers regarding load details, delays, and issues.">
• Review and audit driver trip sheets for accuracy and enter load information into the TMW transportation logistics software.">
• Provide customer support, respond to inquiries, and resolve concerns in a professional and courteous manner.">
• Assist with dispatch operations, including managing driver hours of service, fuel levels, and vehicle maintenance.">
• Collaborate with other dispatchers, loaders, and customers to accommodate their needs and ensure seamless service delivery.">
• Develop and maintain knowledge of Hazmat products, placards, and regulations.">
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.">
• Utilize computer software proficiently to receive loads via fax, email, or phone calls, and update records accordingly.">

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, or related field (or equivalent experience).">
• At least two years of dispatch experience in the petroleum industry.">
• Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.">
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.">
• Familiarity with TMW Suite software and ELD logs (an advantage).">
