About the Role

Trimble's People eXperience (PX) team is dedicated to delivering an exceptional experience for all employees, fostering a culture of innovation, growth, and belonging. As a key member of this team, the Compensation Partner will play a crucial role in shaping the future of compensation at Trimble.

The global compensation team is responsible for attracting and retaining top talent, managing employee salaries and rewards, and aligning market best practices with company strategy. This role requires a strategic thinker who can provide consultative support to PX and business leaders, ensuring that compensation programs are fair, effective, and competitive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert consultancy to business People eXperience (Human Resources) partners on compensation matters, ensuring seamless integration of newly acquired companies.
  • Partner with PXBPs to provide guidance and interpretation of policies and guidelines, ensuring compliance with laws and standards.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of government regulations and company policies to guarantee compliance with laws and standards such as minimum wage, FLSA, and pay equity.
  • Participate in global salary surveys, providing accurate data to support market analysis and recommendations.
  • Analyze salary survey outcomes and recommend adjustments to salary structures to maintain market competitiveness.
  • Monitor and report on compensation market trends, ensuring Trimble remains competitive.
  • Update and establish salary ranges globally, reflecting market competitiveness and ensuring internal and external equity.
  • Craft and distribute communications related to compensation issues, projects, or policies, ensuring clear and concise messaging.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to represent the comp team's point of view, driving business outcomes.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in compensation, with a strong understanding of market trends and regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Project and/or program management experience, with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Curiosity, agility, and ability to work quickly in ambiguous situations, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills, with experience working with complex data sets.
  • Experience with FLSA and Pay Equity/Transparency legislation, with a strong understanding of compliance requirements.
