An Associate Superintendent oversees each division and a variety of programs, such as Child Development, Child Welfare & Attendance, Special Education, Nutrition Services and Transportation.

Requirements and QualificationsTo be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- Experience working with school-age students
- A High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate or California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) Certificate
- Completion of forty-eight (48) units of higher education study or obtained an AA degree or successfully passed the Modesto City Schools Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Assessment Exam
