Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Facilitate the movement of donated books and media between Autoline and storage containers.
- Sort, pack, and organize books and media efficiently.
- Utilize hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment for manual handling.
- Load and categorize items into appropriate containers following established sorting protocols.
- Label containers accurately according to specific categories.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in retail, particularly with books or art, is advantageous.
Essential Skills:
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to forty (40) pounds.
- Strong knowledge of book and media categories, including familiarity with popular authors and artists.
- Proficient in using computers for generating documentation and conducting research.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility in scheduling is required.
