The Registered Nurse is a key member of our interdisciplinary team, responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a behavioral health setting. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering compassionate and individualized care, while also ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and behavioral health needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans that address their unique requirements.
- Care Coordination: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination, including communication with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Medication Management: Accurately administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as needed under the supervision of a physician.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, reporting significant changes in patient status to the treatment team and physician.
- Education and Support: Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting healthy behaviors and empowering them to manage their care.
- Education: Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
- Experience: One or more years of nursing experience in a clinical area, preferably in behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery.
- Licenses/Certifications: Valid current RN license from the state or a compact state, CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification, and First Aid certification (if required by state or facility).
