Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Certified Physician Assistant to join our Plastic and Aesthetics team at Swedish Medical Center's First Hill Campus in Seattle, Washington. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to expand their career while working alongside a world-class team.
Responsibilities
As a Certified Physician Assistant, you will assist experienced surgeons in performing high-complexity surgical procedures, manage postoperative care, and provide exceptional patient communication. Your key responsibilities will include:
- First assisting in surgeries, demonstrating high surgical competency.
- Managing postoperative care, including follow-up appointments and direct patient communication.
- Covering calls and participating in hospital rounds.
- Detailed patient charting and documentation.
- Collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Certified Physician Assistant.
- New graduates with previous RN experience in hospital and post-op care are also encouraged to apply.
- Excellent clinical skills, with a strong focus on providing high-quality patient care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
