Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists with medication histories and train new technicians to ensure seamless workflow.
- Prepare and verify drug orders, maintain accurate patient records, and compound pharmaceuticals with precision.
- Issue controlled substances, maintain records, and provide efficient and timely services to patients and staff.
- Verify daily activities, maintain competency, and ensure licensure and CE records are up-to-date.
- Participate in quality improvement activities, collect data, and conduct monitors and inspections to maintain high standards.
- Provide accurate and timely drug information, coordinate pharmacist education, and sustain the hospital drug formulary.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years of pharmacy technician experience preferred.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of practice required.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred.
- ACPE accredited IV certification program required.
