Job Summary:

The Travel Nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU
  • Assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes in patient condition
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Documenting patient information and progress in the medical record
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an ICU setting
  • Current RN license in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Neurological experience and knowledge of vent settings, A-lines, central lines, and NIH evaluations
  • Ability to float between units, including SCU, NCU, and CCU
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, nights, and weekends
