Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Utility Worker to join our team at G & J Pepsi-Cola Bottlers. As a Warehouse Utility Worker, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pallet Building and Loading: Accurately build pallets of product by identifying the proper location and quantity of product requested on build sheets. Ensure that each pallet is staged and loaded correctly and safely.
  • Delivery Verification: Verify incoming and outgoing deliveries according to established standards.
  • Unloading and Storage: Unload incoming goods from delivery trucks and trailers according to established standards.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and assist in the organization of the warehouse.
  • Product Delivery: Deliver products and raw materials to other Pepsi locations according to established standards.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Work in the On-Premise department to ensure the safe, reliable, and timely preparation, delivery, installation, and removal of all company equipment.
  • Damage and Disposal: Count and transport damaged and out-of-date product to designated storage areas.
  • Communication: Communicate with coworkers, supervisors, and management team verbally regarding the status of work activities.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete equipment safety checklists, load sheets, time-off requests, and other required paperwork.
Requirements
  • Education: High School or GED
  • Experience: 1-3 years of forklift experience in a warehouse environment and 6-12 months of previous customer service/customer relations experience
  • Certifications: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's license

This is a warehouse environment with a fast-paced and dynamic work setting. The successful candidate must be able to work quickly, efficiently, and independently, and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
