Job Summary

The 2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Mechanic plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment, as well as maintaining plant facilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with and follow all OSHA and NARSTCO safety standards and regulations
  • Perform maintenance, repair, service, and troubleshooting of all industrial equipment and buildings within capabilities and under the direction of the Maintenance Manager
  • Perform preventive maintenance requirements as scheduled, following technical drawings and documentation
  • Help maintain parts and supply inventory levels by using min/max inventory levels and anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies
  • Operate forklift
  • Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, establishing personal networks
  • Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations and housekeeping standards
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Associates or Vocational degree preferred
  • CIMM (Certified Industrial Maintenance Mechanic) preferred
  • Welding (certification) preferred
  • 3-5 years of work experience in Industrial Machinery Maintenance and Repair
  • Mechanical, Hydraulic, Electrical, and Pneumatic troubleshooting and repair experience required
