Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team at The Publisher Hotel in Fredericksburg, VA. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Housekeeping Staff
    • Direct and supervise a team of housekeepers to ensure that all guest rooms are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
    • Coordinate the daily cleaning schedule and ensure that all rooms are cleaned and ready for guests.
  • Inspect and Maintain Guest Rooms
    • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms to ensure that they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
    • Identify and address any issues or concerns with guest rooms and take corrective action as needed.
  • Manage Housekeeping Operations
    • Oversee the ordering and inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
    • Develop and implement procedures to ensure that housekeeping operations are efficient and effective.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service
    • Ensure that all guests receive exceptional customer service and that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
    • Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull carts and equipment as needed.
