Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Acute Care Hospital Registrar 1 to join our team at Spectrum Health System. As a key member of our Patient Access Registration Front Line team, you will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and timely registration/admission process for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain accurate individual demographic, clinical, and insurance information from patients and their families.
  • Verify patient information and ensure accuracy in our registration systems.
  • Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient registration processes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients, families, and healthcare staff.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve registration-related issues and improve processes.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare registration or related role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
