Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet InsideHigherEd's goals and objectives.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including foundations, corporations, and individual donors.
- Grant Research and Writing: Conduct thorough research to identify potential funding opportunities and write compelling grant proposals to secure support.
- Donor Stewardship: Develop and implement effective stewardship plans to cultivate and retain major donors.
- Collaboration: Work closely with InsideHigherEd's leadership team, development staff, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as fundraising, marketing, or non-profit management.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong research and writing skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
