Assembly and Inspection Technician

We are seeking a skilled Assembly and Inspection Technician to join our team in Wyandotte, MI. As an Assembly and Inspection Technician, you will perform visual inspection, minor finishing, and basic assembly of small molded parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform minor finishing and basic assembly operations by understanding the fundamental operation of HMI to enter data into LAN database system.
  • Resolve equipment problems and use rulers, clippers, and other small tools to complete assigned inspection/task.
  • Read standard operating instructions to familiarize self with operating and safety procedures.
  • Perform safety and quality check of assigned equipment on a routine basis and actively participate and support the safety program.
  • Support efficient movement of materials from inspection/assembly lines to staging area for transfer to warehouse.
  • Complete equipment changeover operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity are maintained.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Lift up to 30 lbs
  • Willing and able to work different shift work
  • Basic math skills and experience using measurement tools, ie. rulers, gages, etc.
