Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Threat Researcher to join our team at MSCCN. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for developing and testing computer software applications, systems, or services.

About the Role
  • Develop solutions to mitigate security issues through policy development and implementation, threat modeling, assurance program design, education, and thought leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate secure software development and operational security assurance.
  • Analyze or conduct research into critical security areas, such as software vulnerabilities, competitor products, attacks or threats, adversary tracking, and academic literature.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math, IT, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Additionally, they should have six months of experience in software development using C, C++, C#, or another high-level programming language. Specific skills required include Azure, Computer Security, Network Security, Computer Networking, GIT, Python, and Fundamentals of penetration testing and vulnerability analysis.

Salary Information

The estimated base pay range for this position is $138,300 to $168,300 per year, depending on various factors such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Employees are also eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock.
