Job SummaryThis full-time position offers the opportunity to work as a travel Ultrasound Technologist in a dynamic healthcare environment. Your expertise in diagnostic medical sonography will enable you to provide high-quality imaging services to patients, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams using various modalities, including echocardiography.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to obtain accurate diagnoses and develop effective treatment plans.
- Analyze images and report findings to support diagnosis and treatment decisions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, exam results, and follow-up procedures.
- Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent.
- Proficiency in ultrasound modalities, including cardiac and vascular imaging.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
