Job Description

ADM is seeking an experienced Process Chemistry Group Manager to lead and mentor research scientists in advancing early-stage discovery projects through pilot scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teams responsible for developing diverse chemical technologies
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in organic synthesis, scale-up of chemical processes, and purification techniques
  • Collaborate with groups across ADM Research to advance processes and products
  • Interface with ADM Science and Technology Leaders to influence strategic direction
  • Apply expertise in organic chemistry and process development to advance ADM's research programs
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in organic chemistry or chemical engineering with at least 10 years of industry experience
  • At least 5 years of line management experience with multiple direct reports
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate diverse teams
  • Knowledge of safe hazardous material handling and hazardous communication requirements
