Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Lead Technician to join our team at Firestone Complete Auto Care. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues, while also mentoring and leading our team of technicians to deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Diagnose and repair complex automotive issues, including brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
  • Leadership and Mentoring: Lead and mentor our team of technicians to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate technical information to non-technical individuals, including customers and colleagues.
  • Training and Development: Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers are satisfied with the work performed and the overall experience.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of automotive repair experience.
  • Completion of a Vocational-Technical School program in a related field or demonstrated skills via third-party certificates/assessments.
  • A.S.E. certification in at least 5 (five) of A1-A8 (L1 can be one of the five) is required.
  • Maintains Federal, State, and Local certification/license where applicable.
