We are seeking a skilled General Laborer to join our team at Rinker Materials in Frederick, MD. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Mix and pour concrete to meet quality and production standards.
- Operate machinery and equipment, such as concrete mixers and conveyors, to support production needs.
- Clean and maintain equipment and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Assist with the transportation and placement of concrete forms and molds to support production efficiency.
- Load and unload materials and supplies to support production needs.
- Set up forms in the manufacturing production process of concrete products to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Handle and move heavy construction materials to support production needs.
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear to ensure a safe work environment.
- Adhere to quality control standards to ensure the production of high-quality concrete products.
- Ability to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to work outdoors or in open air environments.
- Preferred experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Preferred experience operating a forklift, especially an industrial forklift.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently. Over 50 pounds, a forklift or crane will be used. Ability to push or pull cart with 80 pounds of force. Ability to climb stairs and ladders. Ability to step up 20 inches.
