**Job Title:** Expert Financial Crimes Compliance Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Expert Financial Crimes Compliance Specialist to join our team at Guidehouse. As a key member of our Financial Crimes Compliance team, you will play a critical role in conducting thorough reviews and investigations to mitigate financial crime risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
About the Job:
- Perform comprehensive reviews of financial transactions to identify potential red flags and mitigate financial crime risks
- Analyze complex data sets to make informed decisions and take appropriate action to prevent financial crimes
- Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent financial crimes and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share knowledge and best practices
- Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry trends to ensure continued compliance and effectiveness
About You:
- You have a high school diploma and at least 2 years of experience in reviewing and dispositioning manual and system-generated alerts/cases/files to mitigate risk associated with financial crimes
- You have strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to detect and mitigate red flags for potential financial crimes activity
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- You have a strong understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines related to financial crimes compliance, including BSA, OFAC, and FinCEN guidance
- You have a proven track record of successfully mitigating financial crime risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
