Orlando Health seeks a skilled Chaplain - Full Time to provide spiritual and emotional care to patients, their loved ones, and team members on assigned units.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct access to Protected Health Information (PHI) for patient treatment and healthcare operations purposes.
- Document interventions on patient charts, including spiritual assessments, interventions, and follow-up/referral plans.
- Participate in patient rounds, case reviews, ethics consultations, and advanced directive consults as a member of the interdisciplinary clinical team.
- Offer crisis intervention and bereavement support for individuals experiencing suffering, tragedy, or loss.
- Perform sacramental services, chapel services, and arrange for community clergy services as needed.
- Maintain regular attendance and comply with Orlando Health policies and procedures.
- Master level theological degree (Master of Divinity preferred) with accreditation by the Association of Theological Schools or listing in The Database of Postsecondary Institutions and Programs.
- Four units of Clinical Pastoral Education (full-time), two units (part-time), or one unit (pool) recognized by ACPE, APC, NACC, NAJC, CPSP, CPE-I, or ICPT.
