Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our team. In this role, you will provide evidence-based nutritional counseling and support to individuals struggling with eating disorders and body image concerns. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough nutritional assessments and develop individualized meal plans for clients.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions on a variety of topics related to nutrition, eating disorders, and body image.
- Educate clients on healthy eating habits, mindful eating practices, and intuitive eating principles.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
- Stay current on best practices in eating disorder treatment and nutrition counseling.
Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
- Experience working with individuals struggling with eating disorders and body image concerns.
- Strong clinical assessment and counseling skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to providing culturally competent and trauma-informed care.
