At Psychosocial Therapies, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional psychiatric services to the geriatric population residing in long-term care facilities throughout the state of Ohio. We are seeking a part-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in the Cleveland area and its surroundings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to design, implement, and assess treatment plans for residents in long-term care facilities.
- Deliver high-quality psychiatric services with integrity and a commitment to excellence in resident care.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective treatment outcomes.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each resident.
- Prescribe medication collaboratively with a psychiatrist as determined by the State Board of Nursing.
Requirements:
- Licensed nurse in the state of Ohio with Advance Practice Registered Nurse License in good standing.
- Hold a degree as a PMHNP - Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at the level needed to assess and prescribe medication collaboratively with a psychiatrist as determined by the State Board of Nursing.
- Board Certified.
- Psychiatric experience required.
- Geriatric experience preferred.
- Active DEA required.
- Ability to travel locally required.
