Position Overview

As a Senior Web Application Engineer at Novalink Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of dynamic web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize your extensive educational background, ideally a 4-year degree or equivalent technical training, to contribute to innovative web solutions.

• Leverage a decade of experience in front-end development to create robust and scalable applications using Angular and the MVC 5.0 framework within the .NET & ASP.NET ecosystem, showcasing your expertise in C#, JavaScript, CSS, and jQuery.

• Implement engaging user interfaces with Asp.Net MVC, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, JavaScript, Angular 8 or higher, and Bootstrap, while effectively using ORM tools like Entity Framework.

• Manage SQL databases through careful planning, development, and maintenance, utilizing either Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.

• Demonstrate proficiency in Azure DevOps, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience.

• Apply your knowledge of Python (version 2.7 and above) to enhance application functionality.

• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enrich application capabilities and ensure seamless data interchange.

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience in designing and developing scalable web applications from inception to deployment using Angular and MVC frameworks.

• Strong background in creating interactive user interfaces and converting ASP.NET Web Forms to Angular components for reuse across various modules.

• Proficient in utilizing Angular CLI for component creation, services, pipes, and directives.

• Skilled in SQL database management, including the creation of tables, views, queries, triggers, and stored procedures.

• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly GIT, and experience in utilizing GIT Bash commands for repository management.

• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for continuous integration and version control.

• Competence in creating and consuming SOAP and REST API web services for backend integration.

• Ability to build and maintain server-side applications and APIs using languages such as Python or Ruby on Rails.

• Knowledge of implementing API security measures, including authentication, authorization, and encryption protocols.

• Experience with modern web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.

• Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps.

• Ability to optimize data storage and retrieval processes for effective complaint management.

• Skills in conducting security scans and addressing software vulnerabilities.

• Proven ability to work independently and deliver results in unstructured environments.
