Job Title: Contract Grant Writer

We are seeking a skilled Contract Grant Writer to join our team at the Accounting Aid Society. As a Contract Grant Writer, you will play a critical role in securing funding for our organization's programs and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and identify potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, government agencies, and other funding sources.
  • Write compelling grant proposals and applications that align with the mission and goals of the Accounting Aid Society.
  • Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information and data for proposals.
  • Track and manage the progress of submitted proposals.
  • Prepare and submit grant reports as required by funders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in grant writing for nonprofit organizations.
  • Proven track record of successful grant proposals and funding acquisition.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Compensation:

The pay for the Contract Grant Writer will be determined based on the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) new exempt rules and market standards for contract positions in the nonprofit sector.

Hourly Rate: $30 - $40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Payment Schedule: Payments will be made on a bi-weekly basis with invoices submitted by the contractor detailing hours worked and tasks completed.
