We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Probate and Guardianship Paralegal to join our team at Marshall Law, a boutique law firm specializing in estate planning and administration.

• Draft and prepare probate pleadings for formal and summary probate estates, including homestead and exempt property claims.
• Conduct thorough research on local court rules to ensure accurate and compliant pleadings.
• Communicate effectively with clients to collect necessary information for accurate pleadings, as well as arrange document signings.
• Finalize documents for filing with the court, ensuring timely compliance with the Florida Probate Code.
• Set and monitor deadlines to ensure seamless workflow and client satisfaction.
• Identify and prepare documents for mailing to necessary parties.

• Handle guardianship matters with the same level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Collaborate with attorneys and other paralegals to ensure a seamless workflow and client satisfaction.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in probate and guardianship laws and regulations.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Paralegal Studies or a related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Probate and Guardianship Paralegal, or 5+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal.
• Proficiency in drafting probate pleadings and guardianship documents.
• Thorough understanding of the Florida Probate Code and local court rules.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy are paramount.
