Job Description

Job Summary:

Innova Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Structural Designer to join our team. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for designing and developing structural elements and details for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop structural elements and details for various projects, including industrial, manufacturing, and other clients.
  • Perform 2D drafting and 3D modeling tasks using advanced design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Excel.
  • Develop and maintain detailed construction drawings, specifications, and reports for structural projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and designers to resolve design or drawing issues and accomplish project objectives.
  • Ensure designs meet project standards, procedures, and engineering codes and specifications.
  • Prepare and review design drawings, specifications, and reports within scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Organize and maintain all revisions of project drawings, plot files, and project-related information in a logical and well-structured manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in drafting technology or related field and 7 years of related experience, or Associate's degree and 8 years of related experience, or 9 years of progressive detailing and design experience.
  • Advanced understanding of design software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Excel.
  • Advanced knowledge in design, calculations, and design systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others in a multi-discipline project team environment.
