Key Responsibilities:

  • Design cloud solutions that optimize the shipyard's production, logistics, and maintenance processes.
  • Oversee the migration of on-premise systems to the cloud, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing shipyard operations.
  • Implement and configure cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.) to support data storage, analytics, and real-time processing needs.

  • Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and intellectual property in the cloud environment.
Requirements:
  • 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a proven track record of successful cloud migrations and implementations.
  • Extensive experience in designing and managing cloud environments on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Previous experience in transforming industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably within shipbuilding or maritime industries.
  • Proficiency in cloud infrastructure tools and services, including automation, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with IoT, digital twins, and data analytics technologies.
