SCHOOL BUS MONITORS Transportation Department
Job Goal:
To support the creation and maintenance of a calm, secure, and enjoyable environment on the school bus/van.
Employment Terms:
Part-time (3.5 hours per day) without medical benefits. Not affiliated with any collective bargaining association.
Reports To:
Transportation Coordinator
Performance Responsibilities:
- Oversee students on the school bus/van to ensure positive behavior, contributing to safe driving conditions.
- Assist students in boarding and disembarking from the school bus/van.
- Maintain attendance records for each trip.
- Accompany students to designated personnel upon arrival at school and back to the bus/van at dismissal.
Compensation:
$20.15 per hour.

Requirements:
1. Must be a resident of New Jersey or willing to relocate.
2. Candidates must pass controlled substance testing and a criminal history background check prior to employment.
