Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Mayo Clinic. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams, and contributing to the development of our organization's mission and values.

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse at Mayo Clinic, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct patient care, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless and effective patient care.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellence in patient care.
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families, including health education, counseling, and advocacy.
  • Participating in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advances in healthcare.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current RN license in the state of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of current LPN experience at Mayo Clinic.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
