Penn State University is seeking a qualified Adjunct Program Faculty member to teach in-person evening/weekend classes and clinical experiences for the Practical Nursing Program at Penn State Berks.
Responsibilities- Teach nursing courses to students in the Practical Nursing Program
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of the program
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Participate in program evaluation and improvement
- Collaborate with other faculty members to achieve program goals
- Masters Degree in Nursing
- Active Pennsylvania Nursing license
- Experience in Acute Care Medical Surgical, Long-term care, or Community Health Nursing
- Nurse educator experience preferred
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- PA State Police Criminal Background Check
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
- FBI Criminal Background Check and NSOR registry certification
