Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner
Capital Region Medical Center is in search of a dedicated Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner to become part of a vibrant, collaborative, and supportive work atmosphere. This role encompasses full-time clinic hours from Monday to Friday.
The selected candidate will provide comprehensive care to Family Medicine patients, addressing ongoing health conditions, preventive care, and urgent care requirements, while practicing at the highest level of their licensure. This position will allow the practitioner to build and manage a personal patient panel, offering medical follow-up throughout the patients' lives.
This position is cross-posted with the Physician Assistant role, and only one candidate will be selected.
About Us:
As a part of MU Health Care, Capital Region Medical Center operates as a full-service healthcare system, featuring an acute care hospital, an extensive clinic network, a cutting-edge Cancer Program at the Goldschmidt Cancer Center, a hospital-based fitness center, a home health agency, and the only hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation facility in the area. The hospital is equipped with 100 acute care beds and 14 rehabilitation beds, with referrals coming from over 160 employed providers who serve a network of 36 clinics across an 8-county service area, catering to a population of 225,000.

Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in nursing is mandatory.
- Current Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN is required.
- Compact state RNs must apply under the new state of residency within thirty (30) days if their primary state of residency changes.
- Completion of a nurse practitioner program, either at the Master's level or through a certificate program, is essential. A "Document of Recognition" from the Missouri Board of Nursing must be obtained.
