The Ultrasound Imaging Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This position is essential for ensuring accurate patient assessments through advanced ultrasound technology.
Certification Requirements- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in OB/GYN (RDMS-OB/GYN) through ARDMS
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) via ARDMS
- BLS, ARDMS, ARRT Registered Sonographer Certification
- Conduct ultrasound examinations utilizing state-of-the-art equipment, including GE Logiq E9, Philips IU22, and Mindray systems.
- Work a standard schedule of 40 hours per week.
- Maintain an average workload of 8 to 12 echocardiograms daily.
- Collaborate with the Charge Nurse and Lead Technician, who performs echocardiography studies regularly.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in OB/GYN (RDMS-OB/GYN) through ARDMS
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) via ARDMS
- Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred in a similar role.
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with 5-8 hour shifts.
- Participate in an on-call rotation during weekdays; no weekend on-call or coverage is required.
- Unit: Ultrasound
- Average workload of 8 to 12 echocardiograms daily.
- On-call rotation during the week; no weekend call expected.
- Uniform: Black pants and pewter (gray) top (not provided).
- Orientation and training will be provided based on specific needs.
- Holiday coverage depends on contract duration.
- IV Team available.
- Hospitalist or Intensivist present on-site.
