Job Summary

We are looking for a Medical Assistant to assist with daily clinical and clerical operations of our assigned physician practice(s). The ideal candidate will work in collaboration with our physician team to provide quality care to patients and quality support to providers through consistent communication.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily clinical and clerical operations of the assigned physician practice(s)
  • Work in collaboration with physician team to provide quality care to patients and quality support to providers
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
  • Assist with medical procedures and exams as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent with GED
  • Completed a medical assistant program that meets certification eligibility requirements
  • 1 year of medical assistant or physician office experience preferred
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through American Medical Technologists (AMT) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through National Health career Association (NHA) or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) through National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) through American Medical Certification Association (AMCA)
  • CPR certification required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of clinical and clerical operations, service excellence, clinical quality initiatives preferred
  • Familiarity with computers and electronic medical record experience preferred
