Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at US Engine Valve. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair machine malfunctions to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of equipment and prevent costly repairs.
  • Locate and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Assist in the training of other maintenance personnel and production associates to ensure a high level of technical expertise.
  • Ensure that job functions maintain or improve product quality and meet regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.
  • Advanced education (associate degree) in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting is highly preferred.
  • Experience in working with electrical systems from 24V DC to 480V AC.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints.
Preferred Qualifications
  • On-the-job or classroom training, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, welding, and mechanical.
  • Hilift/Forklift operation experience and ability to obtain license.
  • Quality Management System and Environmental Systems Training.
