Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly qualified Superintendent with extensive experience in the commercial construction field. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities and possess in-depth knowledge of various trades, including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work. This role involves managing all phases of construction projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget constraints, and maintaining high-quality standards. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise all activities on the construction site, ensuring safety, timeliness, and budget compliance.
  • Lead teams across various trades including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical.
  • Prepare and present budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking documentation.
  • Establish and enforce quality control measures.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical specifications to develop accurate time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Coordinate and schedule work to meet strict deadlines and budgetary limits.
  • Engage effectively with clients, construction professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Implement cost management strategies to ensure project profitability.
  • Oversee project activities to align with objectives, including procurement, scheduling, productivity, quality, and safety.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent in the commercial construction industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising teams and managing construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction cost management and basic accounting principles.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents.
  • Excellent project scheduling and budgeting skills.
  • Outstanding leadership and project management capabilities.
  • Thorough knowledge of safety management practices.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with construction management software.
  • A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is advantageous.
